Nashville developer Tony Giarratana has sold his 505 penthouse to local entrepreneur and philanthropist David Ingram for $9,625,000 in a transaction that ranks among the most significant of its type in recent years.
The sale of the 45th-floor unit is the equivalent of $2,200 per square foot, a figure that, though impressive, fall shorts of per-foot record set in July 2024 when Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers founder Todd Graves paid $15 million — $3,759 per foot — for one of the Four Seasons Private Residences penthouses (read here).
Giarratana’s development company developed the site with 505. The company continues to pre-sell residential units for its future Paramount skyscraper, work on which is slated to soon begin in the 1000 block of Church Street. The just-sold penthouse will continue to be used as a showroom of sorts to market Paramount units.
